PARCELLY NAMED A 2026 TECHNOLOGY TRAILBLAZER BY WIRED AND HSBC UK
Building the future of first and last mile: Parcelly joins the 2026 Technology Trailblazers
Parcelly is one of just 18 UK technology businesses selected for driving innovation, delivering growth and spearheading positive change. We are proud to announce that Parcelly has been named a 2026 Technology Trailblazer by WIRED and HSBC UK. Now in its fifth year, the Trailblazers Programme identifies and celebrates ambitious UK businesses using innovation to redefine their industries. Following research across the UK technology sector, Parcelly was selected as one of just 18 businesses in this year’s Technology Trailblazer cohort.
Recognition of Parcelly’s technology-first vision
This recognition is particularly meaningful because it reflects the company we have been building for more than a decade: not simply another parcel shop network, but the technology infrastructure powering smarter first- and last-mile logistics. Parcelly is a London-headquartered logistics technology company building the operating system for the first and last mile. Our AI-enabled, carrier-agnostic platform provides the orchestration layer connecting international carrier brands with more than 6,500 out-of-home location partners across the UK, Ireland and Germany. The platform brings carrier integrations, location onboarding, parcel processing, capacity management, customer notifications, partner payments and operational oversight together within one scalable technology environment. This gives carriers two distinct ways to work with Parcelly:
- Technology only: Carriers can use Parcelly’s software to launch, operate and manage their own branded PUDO networks more efficiently.
- Technology and network: Carriers can combine the same software with Parcelly’s established network of more than 6,500 location partners, supported by our acquisition, onboarding and operational teams.
Both models are built around the same objective: reducing fragmentation and making out-of-home delivery networks faster to deploy, easier to manage and more scalable across markets. The recognition also reflects Parcelly’s recent progress in applying AI across its technology platform and wider business operations, helping our teams and carrier partners work more intelligently and efficiently.
“An endorsement of the technology-first business we have built”
“When we launched Parcelly in 2014, our ambition was never simply to build another parcel shop network. We set out to build the technology layer that enables carriers to deploy and operate smarter, more flexible first- and last-mile services. To be recognised by WIRED and HSBC UK as a 2026 Technology Trailblazer is therefore especially meaningful. It validates the technology-first business we have built and belongs to every member of our excellent team, as well as the carrier clients and location partners who have helped us scale it.” Sebastian Steinhauser, Founder and CEO of Parcelly

Joining the 2026 Technology Trailblazers
The new cohort came together at a celebratory event in London on 8 October 2026, hosted by Catherine Crump, Managing Director of WIRED Consulting, and Roland Emmans, Head of Technology Sector and Growth Lending at HSBC UK. The programme featured discussions with Sara French, Director of Trade and Growth at London & Partners; Dr Carmen Palacios-Berraquero, Founder and CEO of Nu Quantum; and Andrew Brookes, Co-founder and CTO of Faculty. The conversations explored technology-sector trends and the realities of scaling a UK business, including commercialising innovation, attracting the right talent, accessing growth capital and expanding internationally. Most importantly, the event created an opportunity for the selected founders and business leaders to exchange ideas and experiences openly with an inspiring group of fellow technology innovators. We would like to thank WIRED Consulting and HSBC UK for the recognition, the wonderful hospitality and the inspiring conversations throughout the event.
Building the operating system for the first and last mile
Out-of-home delivery continues to grow rapidly, but growth alone will not solve the sector’s structural challenges. As carriers, retailers, parcel shops, lockers and urban logistics services expand, the competitive advantage increasingly lies in the intelligence connecting them: interoperable technology, real-time data, automation and consistent operating standards. This is the future Parcelly was built to enable.
Our focus now is to continue expanding the capabilities of our platform, supporting carriers across the UK, Ireland and Germany, and creating increasingly seamless experiences for location partners and consumers. Being named a 2026 Technology Trailblazer is an important milestone in that journey. It is also an encouragement to keep pushing boundaries, solving increasingly complex problems and building the infrastructure needed for the next generation of first- and last-mile delivery.
Above all, this recognition belongs to the entire Parcelly team, whose commitment, creativity and hard work continue to turn our vision into reality.
