PARCELLY SHORTLISTED AGAIN FOR 'BEST INNOVATION IN ECOMMERCE IN DELIVERY/LOGISTICS' AT THE ECOMMERCE AWARDS 2017

26 July 2017

We are delighted to announce that Parcelly has once again been shortlisted for the Best Innovation in eCommerce Delivery/Logistics category at the eCommerce Awards 2017 .

Now in their ninth year, the eCommerce Awards have consistently broken new ground in highlighting some of the very best online retailers, companies, agencies, innovations, products and campaigns the ecommerce industry has to offer.

In the UK alone, there are over 100 million failed or carded deliveries each year, costing the industry more than £700 million. Parcelly is changing customers’ lives by providing a convenient solution that allows them to collect their deliveries at a chosen or carrier-optimised location at a time that suits them — regardless of where they shop online. Together with Gnewt Cargo , the world’s largest fully electric delivery fleet, Parcelly has taken significant steps to reduce the environmental impact of delivery logistics while simultaneously creating greater convenience for customers.

Innovative delivery initiatives need to provide more than just increased efficiency or cost reduction. We are extremely proud to provide The HUT Group with a zero-emission in-flight leave-safe option through our collaboration with Gnewt Cargo. Parcelly's leave-safe option requires no further labelling thanks to our non-labelled fulfilment process — perhaps the world’s most efficient leave-safe option — further reducing the environmental impacts of last-mile logistics.

Gnewt is absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted as part of a trio of forward-thinking, innovative companies whose combined skill sets have created a truly unique and scalable solution in urban logistics.

The winners will be determined by an independent judging panel, with results announced on Wednesday 27 September 2017 at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square.

We are very excited to be shortlisted for this award for the second year running. It is a true testament to Parcelly’s strong position at the forefront of technological development and its reinvention of first- and last-mile click-and-collect logistics at the touch of a button.

Partnering with a zero-emissions courier further reflects our commitment to sustainability and the environment, for which we have recently been recognised at the prestigious Business in the Community Awards . You can learn more about our efforts to reduce the environmental impact of parcel deliveries and how Parcelly has already offset over 35,000kg of carbon emissions here .

Now with over 1,200 locations across the UK and beyond, Parcelly’s nationwide network of click-and-collect locations continues to grow rapidly, with exciting developments in the pipeline set to launch this year — so stay tuned.
